All workshops are beginners friendly, unless stated otherwise.  Prices include all materials as well as refreshments.  Payment is required at time of booking either by visiting The Art Room, phoning Emma on 07834228054, or emailing and asking for the details to perform a transfer.

Beginners Crochet Workshop 

with Sue Hall

wednesday 26th February

6.30 - 8.30pm £25

 This workshop is perfect for complete beginners looking to learn basic stitches, how to read patterns and charts, and how to "talk crochet".  If there’s time, you might also be able to make a small gift bag or a coaster too...  This class is an introduction to this adaptable,                                                                                                    flexible skill and you’ll receive a starter pack as well as various  tips.





Spring Needlefelt  Workshop.

Design fantastic wool creations using raw carded wool and a special barbed needle. It's simple, inexpensive, and you can fashion just about anything you can imagine. Start small until you get the hang of needle felting...








Japanese Temari workshop

learn the ancient Japanese art of Temari, bright, intricate woven balls created simply with wool and thread and a little imagination








Wet felting workshop

with Fiona Moir

12- 3pm £30

Fiona will demonstrate how she works
when wet felting and guide you through

the process of creating your
own piece of felt art using a range of
wools and silks. This is a beautifully
vibrant approach to making images
and is an exciting alternative from the

more common use of pencils,

pastels and paint.








Spring  highland coo! fused glass panel workshop with Lorrie Kyle £56

Come along to this evening of creativity enjoy making your own fused glass highland cow panel toadorn your windowsill. All equipment and glass supplied, no experience necessary as learning to cut the glass is half the fun!!!

All creations will be fired and ready for collection a week after the class

Granny squares crochet workshop

squares are an extremely versatile
approach to crocheting... use
yours to make a unique blanket,
useful basket, or stunning cushion.
All materials & patterns will be provided, as will lots of colour!




Mindfulness Drawing Workshop

stop what youre doing and focus on the here and now, this relaxing class helpsyou clear your mind as you focus on whats in front of you. 2 hours will absolutely fly past as you emmerse yourself in simple yet beautiful drawing.
